Palace East’s design is influenced by Iconography; the direction and the placement of elements were chose to influence players’ luck and create the luckiest seating. Asian philosophies, such as Taoism, Feng Shui (Wind and water), Pa Kua (Octagon), I Ching (from Book of Changes), and Yin and Yang (Two Opposing Forces) guided the designs and choices of material placement-to bring good luck and fortune for players. It is a grand palace-like atmosphere with historically-inspired elements such as the lattice work, the ancient Korean motif tile design roofing, a 150,000 chopstick wall art sculpture, stained glass fire columns, a 84’ hand carved wood relief sculpture, columns decorated with the symbols of I-Ching in Patina Bronze and the octagonal ceiling panels decorated with 24-Karat gold leafing. KWI, the Asian restaurant and noodle bar is designed in a modern setting with complementing colors and materials in harmony and spatial continuity to the Asian gaming area. There is an open kitchen with counter seating and a dining room.
