BIG Game Weekend means BIG party plans for Casino Windsor
Windsor, Ontario, 1/26/2006
Windsor, Ont. – Casino Windsor is bringing the thrill of the biggest football game of the year over the border with the Big Game Weekend from February 3 to 5.
Located only a few minutes across the river from Detroit’s Ford Field where the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Seattle Seahawks will be going head-to-head, Casino Windsor is throwing the biggest party of the year with free entertainment, live music and great giveaways.
Each day of the weekend, from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., the thrill of the football frenzy will be right on the casino floor with cheerleaders, living ‘statues’ air-brushed in team colors and a free mini football giveaway on Sunday. Fans won’t miss a second of the Big Game with every in-house television tuned to the gridiron match at all the bar areas including Showtime Lounge, Melodies Poker Bar and Joker’s Lounge.
Pumping you up for some pre-game action, Casino Windsor is rockin’ the house with FREE live music performances by popular KISS tribute band Destroyer on Friday, February 3 and Saturday, February 4 at Melodies located on the main gaming floor. Taking the stage at 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. each night in signature KISS makeup, leather and platforms, this band will definitely get audiences psyched for the Big Game event.
What’s the Bowl without a Bud? That’s why Casino Windsor is giving customers a chance to win one of three Budweiser leather jackets, a neon sign or the grand prize, a Skybox Fridge valued at $1,000. No purchase is necessary; customers can complete a FREE ballot at any of Casino Windsor’s bars throughout the weekend for a chance to win. The draw will be on Monday, February 6 at 4 p.m. and winners will be notified by phone.
More than 1,000 invited customers will be attending a Big Game party in the Promenade Ballroom on February 5. While watching the game, guests will enjoy stadium-style food, special appearances by former NFL superstars Lomas Brown, Billy Simms and former Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders.
Casino Windsor’s restaurants will also be celebrating this monumental event by offering stadium-style menu specials throughout the weekend festivities.
