Spring Tributes to Musical Greats

Windsor, Ont. – Casino Windsor’s Showtime Lounge is honoring musical greats from the past and present with energetic impersonators strutting their talents in popular tribute shows. There is also a one-night only cultural performance you won’t want to miss.

It’s a toe tapping, foot stomping good time with the premier of Country Tribute currently appearing until March 19. Hear top ten hits performed by remarkable impersonators as they pay tribute to country music legends Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, Shania Twain, Garth Brooks and Charlie Daniels.

Beatle fans love the look and sound of The Caverners who return to the stage from March 22 to April 2. Enjoy this Liverpool legend’s musical portfolio performed by this unbelievably realistic tribute band.

Indulge in an evening of exotic Middle Eastern music during a special one-night performance on April 9 at 10 p.m. See talented singers Nasser Deeb and Jacqueline Francis perform alongside the sensual belly dancer Kristal.

Swooning is optional with the return of Heartthrobs from April 12 to April 30. This tribute show combines fifty years of music’s “teen idols” with hits by Paul Anka, Bobby Darin, David Cassidy to modern megastars N’Sync and the Back Street Boys.

The Rat Pack takes the stage from May 3 to May 28 to pay tribute to the legendary trio that brought Vegas lounge singing to its pinnacle. Enjoy classic favourites by Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin performed with brilliant realism in their premier performance.

Shake, rattle and roll with one of Showtime Lounge’s most popular impersonators Max Pellicano, returning from May 31 to July 3. This impersonator of the King is one of the best around, complete with hip-swivel and phenomenal voice. Due to popular demand, a show has been added on Sunday, July 3 at 8 p.m.

Shows start at 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, and 7:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays (some exceptions apply). Tickets are only $15 Canadian. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling the Box Office at 1-800-991-8888 or locally at 258-8100.

Please note: Showtime Lounge will be closed from April 5 to April 8, reopening on April 9.
