MegaBucks hits with $2.4 Million Winner at Casino Windsor

Windsor, Ont. – A woman from Roseville, Michigan went home $2,423,487 richer yesterday after hitting the jackpot on Casino Windsor’s MegaBucks $1 progressive slot machine.
Casino Windsor first introduced MegaBucks dollar slot machines in 2001 and since that time, $14.9 million has been given away in mega-jackpots at this casino.
Casino Windsor’s largest single MegaBucks jackpot ever was $4.5 million awarded to a Windsor man on February 28, 2004. The year 2003 was also a winning one for Casino Windsor with a February win of $1.5 million to a woman from Ann Arbor, Michigan, then in April, $1.9 million was awarded to a Windsor man and in August, $2.6 million was awarded to a man from Essex County, Ontario. The largest MegaBucks jackpot in Ontario hit for $5.7 million at Niagara Fallsview Casino on October 30, 2004.
