From Asheville, NC:
Take 40 West to Exit #27 - US 19/74 West. Follow 74 West approximately 27 miles. Take Exit #74, Hwy 441 North to Cherokee. Keep going approximately 4 miles. Take a right at first traffic light. Harrah's Cherokee Casino is at next intersection.

From Atlanta, GA:
Take 85 North to 985 until you run into 441 North. At Dillsboro take 74 West and follow signs to Cherokee (Exit 74). Take 441 North to Cherokee for about 4 miles, take a right at first traffic light. Harrah´s Cherokee Casino is at the next intersection (about one mile) Approximate drive time: 3 hours.

Periodic closing of Highway 19 at Cherokee Gap could effect your drive to the casino, if in that area, Saturday, December 15th through September 2009.

Detours are clearly marked by the NCDOT and should only effect traffic on non-holiday weekdays between 7pm and 7am.
