AND THEY'RE OFF!

Harrah's Chester Casino & Racetrack has brought back world-class harness racing to the Delaware Valley.

The 2008 racing season goes from Sunday, April 20 through Wednesday, December 17. Race days will include Sundays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Post time has been changed 12:15 P.M. every day for the remainder of the season. NOTE: There will be a special 3:00 P.M. on the following dates - Monday, May 26; Sunday, June 15 and Sunday, August 17.

Beginning Tuesday, November 25 and for the remainder of the meet there will be racing on Tuesdays and no racing on Thursdays.  Click here for more information on 2008 racing season.

The new venue at Harrah's Chester is located just off of Route 291 near Morton Ave. in Chester, Pennsylvania, providing racing fans with the best that the sport of harness racing has to offer. It is a short drive off I-95 (Exit 8 Ridley Park) just south of the Philadelphia International Airport.

Trotters and pacers motor over the 5/8ths-mile track that runs parallel to the Delaware River, providing racing enthusiasts with a spectacular view across the water.

Fans can watch the races from the open-air 1,500-seat grandstand area that puts you right on the action, a 20,000-square-foot outdoor bar deck, or from anywhere within the facility's state-of-the-art simulcast center. An eight-floor indoor parking garage connects to the facility and ensures easy access to Harrah's Chester.
