The 2008 Online Racing Application is now online. This will be the only way to apply for racing privileges at Harrah's Chester. Initial racing applications prior to the start of the 2008 racing season will be due by Sunday, March 23.

Thereafter, all new racing applications and addition of horses to racing applications will be reviewed each Sunday by Harrah's Chester and the P.H.H.A. Please plan accordingly if you plan on racing in the near future. PLEASE NOTE: the racing application should be submitted only by the TRAINER. Once a trainer has had horses accepted to race, any changes must be made by the APPLICATION UPDATE form. Any horse that races, in a non-stake purse race, other than at Harrah's Chester after being accepted and having started at Harrah's Chester must be re-submitted to race here. 

For all horses listed on the racing application, the following will be required: 2008 dated negative Coggins Test, Rabies & EHV Vaccination, along with a current (dated within 30 days of the first race entry at Harrah's Chester) Health Certificate.

If a horse has been racing in 2008 and has already had the 2008 Coggins Test, Rabies & EHV Vaccination paperwork submitted at another track and shows that it has been submitted on the USTA eTrack produced Eligibility Report, that paperwork on that particular horse need not be submitted again to the Racing Office at Harrah's Chester.

Any horses that will be entered into claiming events will need signed (by all the owners) claiming authorizations submitted to the Racing Office. Preference will always be given to horses entered in claiming events that have claiming authorizations on file in the Racing Office.
