1 second allowance - Horses coming from

a half-mile track & Track Conditions listed as "Good"

Opportunities to Qualify:

          2 Yr. Olds - 5 consecutive chances

          3 Yr. Olds - 4 consecutive chances

         4 Yr. Olds & Older - 3 consecutive chances

If a horse has used up his chances, it will not be allowed to qualify at Harrah's Chester for 30 days.

RACING STANDARDS: Every horse must meet the time standard in each start on a fast or good track, with exceptions being breaks, broken equipment and interference.

Horses breaking in two consecutive starts on fast or good tracks must re-qualify.

Horses breaking in their first start off a qualifying race must re-qualify. ("Fast" or "Good" Tracks)

Horses in the PA Sire Stakes and all Early and Late Closers must show at least one (1) clean charted line (no breaks) within thirty (30) days prior to the advertised declaration day and meet the existing time standard.

First qualifying days prior to opening will be:

Tuesday, April 8              10:00A.M.

Friday, April 11                10:00 A.M.

Tuesday, April 15            10:00 A.M.

Enter by 1:00 P.M. the day before. Thereafter, the schedule will be:

QUALIFYING DAY: TUESDAY AT 10:00 A.M. 

QUALIFYING BOX CLOSES AT 12:00 P.M. THURSDAY

Note: Thanksgiving Week there will be NO Qualifying Races.

DRAW SCHEDULE:

Note: Thanksgiving Week there will be no racing on Thursday, November 27 (Thanksgiving Day). There will be racing on Tuesday, November 25. Declare in by 9:00 A.M.on Thursday, November 20.

RACE OFFICE HOURS:  Race Office opens at 7:30 A.M. sharp until the end of live racing. Tuesdays 7:30 A.M.- 1:00 P.M.
