Host Or On-Site Contact
The host or pre-established contact person who is at least twenty one(21) years of age must be present from beginning through completion of each event. Harrah's has the right to cease any event that may disturb or cause harm to any other function.
The Health Department and state beverage regulations do not permit Harrah's to allow food or beverage, alcoholic or otherwise, to be brought into a public meeting place from an outside source by the patron or attendees.
No food or beverage shall be removed from the property.
Applicable service charge and tax will be added to all food and beverage purchases. Any group requesting tax exemption must submit their Certificate of Exemption prior to the event.
Final menu selections should be submitted 30 days prior to the function to ensure the availability of desired menu items.
A guaranteed number is required three business days prior to your function. This guarantee is the minimum your group will be charged for the function. If your guarantee is not received by the catering office, we shall let your estimated number serve as your guarantee. We will be prepared to serve 5% over your guaranteed number for groups under 300 and 3% over for groups larger than 300. Upon receipt of your guarantee, you may wish to set over that amount and the same method will be used. Seating over that amount will be charged $10.00 per place setting.
Should the guaranteed number be raised on the day of the event, the new guarantee will serve as the room set number.
To ensure the best possible service, we strongly recommend you select one entree. Only one salad and one dessert will be served in each case.
There wil be a $2.00 per entree charge for choice of two entrees and when choosing three entrees, a $3.50 per entree fee will be charged.
A cancellation charge of 100% shall apply on meeting rooms and a fee equal to one half of the projected food and beverage revenue shall be charged to any group for cancellation within 90 days.
Entertainment
Musicians, orchstras and DJs, etc., will be booked by the person in charge of the event and will be their sole responsibility. The catering office must be notified well in advance of entertainment being provided. We do, however, reserve the right to control volume and content. The use of any special effects or equipment must be approved by the General Manager of Harrah's.
As other groups may be utilizing the same room prior to or following your function, please adhere to times agreed upon. Should your scheduled time change, please contact the catering office and any every effort will be made to accommodate you.
Harrah's has the right to change room locaton to accommodate all business levels.
Function rooms are assigned by the number of people anticipated. Should your group size increase or decrease, please contact the catering office so we may make necessary room accommodations.
If on the day of an event, the engager changes the room set-up specified on the catering contract, a minimum labor charge of $100 may be added.
Harrah's shall not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of any merchadise or articles left on the property prior to or following the event.
Arrangements for security of exhibits, merchandise or displays may be made prior to the planned event. Harrah's reserves the right to require in-house security for selected groups at the group's expense.
The customer is responsible and shall reimburse Harrah's for any damage, loss or liability incurred by the property by any of the customer's guests or any persons or organizations contacted by the customer to provide any service or goods before, during or following the event.
We will be pleased to assist you with the acceptance and storage of your conference materials. Your materials may arrive during the week prior to your event, but arrangements must be made in advance. Without prior authorization, shipments may be refused. Upon your departure, all items must be removed from the premises, or speical arrangements must be approved by the catering office.
Exhibitors are responsible for all materials needed for shipping along with appropriate forms and paperwork, and contacting shipping company. Harrah's staff will take your labled items to our warehouse for pick up. Any materials remaining after scheduled moveout will be considered refused.
All groups must submit an advance deposit or guaranteed form of payment.
Payment in full in required 3 days prior to the event. All charges discussed before the event are estimates based on the guaranteed number of attendees.
Host bars, miscellaneous charges, changes and/or additions are not included in the estimate and must be paid forat the conclusion of the event.
