Sports betting meets live gaming to create the sports fan’s dream come true, as Harrah’s introduces its state-of-the-art new Sports Pit.

All the games are on display on big screens – over 40 high-definition televisions in all, including two 100” projection screens for the day’s biggest events.

But the fun only starts with sports, since Harrah’s Sports Pit also features live gaming.  Choose from blackjack, craps, video poker and keno, then watch your favorite team while playing your favorite game.  It’s like a peanut butter cup for gamblers!

Rumbling stomachs and thirsty palates are also well-attended at the Sports Pit.  There’s a full-service bar that stays open well into the night, even past the late games. Also, the Pepper Rose Deli, opening in October 2007, will serve up Texas-sized flavors with an emphasis on BBQ, including smoked brisket or rotisserie chicken sandwiches on freshly baked bread.

The Harrah’s Sports Pit boasts sleek and contemporary décor including granite bar tops, zebra wood accents and textured walls in rich metallic shades of burgundy, green and orange. Lounge-style seating and multiple games on large plasma screens make the pit the next best thing to being on the sidelines.
