Where can the Prepaid Card be used? [back to top]
The Total Rewards Prepaid Card is accepted at participating merchant locations affiliated with Caesars Operating Company, where Discover® cards are accepted. Visit the Total Rewards Center or Prepaid Card Card sales location for a list of participating merchants. Cards are not accepted at ATMs, for reservations, gambling, and at check cashing or money order dispensing locations.
How do I find the available balance on a Prepaid Card Card? [back to top]
There are 3 easy ways to check a Card balance:
1) Call the number on the back of your card.
2) Visit the website on the back of your card
3) Check your receipt after you make a purchase. There's a six-digit code, usually to the right of the "Auth Code" that indicates how many cents you have left on your Card. To convert to dollars, simply insert a decimal point to the left of the second number from the right. For example: 002555 means you have $25.55 left on your Prepaid Card.
It is highly recommended to inform the merchant of the Available Balance prior to making a purchase to ensure fast and easy processing.
For balance inquiries, you will need the entire 16 digit Card number embossed on the front of the Card and the last 3 digits (CID code) found on the back of the Card. You should keep a record of this information in case your Card is ever lost or stolen.
How to make a purchase using the Prepaid Card Card? [back to top]
Simply inform the cashier of the available balance or amount to charge to the Prepaid Card. If the purchase amount is greater than the available balance on the Prepaid Card, ask the cashier if he/she can accommodate an additional form of payment, such as a credit card. Always be sure that the merchant returns the Prepaid Card, even if the balance is depleted, in case you wish to make a return.
- At Restaurants and Other Tipping Establishments
Since most restaurant terminals are programmed to approve transactions for approximately 25% more than the cost of the meal to cover gratuity, be sure the balance of your Prepaid Card will cover it. Establishments other than restaurants might also authorize for this additional percentage; the merchant should be able to advise.
- At Gas Stations
If Gas Stations are listed as an approved merchant for your Prepaid Card Card, please note that Prepaid Card Cards cannot be used to pay at the pump. Please visit the station clerk to use your Prepaid Card Card.
- Special Use Restrictions
Cards may not be used for reservations at establishments such as restaurants, car rental companies and hotels. Cards are not accepted at ATMs, check cashing or money order dispensing locations or at other merchant locations where acceptance may not be feasible. Prepaid Cards may not be used for gambling.
How to return something purchased with the Prepaid Card Card? [back to top]
Keep the purchase receipt and Prepaid Card to make a return to your Prepaid Card. Return policies vary at every store. Please inquire about the return or exchange policy when making the purchase. If the merchant issues a credit to the Prepaid Card, these funds may not be available for approximately three to five (3-5) business days.
