Over the years, Harrah´s Entertainment, Inc. has won dozens of awards for high quality of service, our hotels, and our entertainment.
We´re proud of those prizes, but the award that means the most to us is the one we won for our leadership in responsible gaming.
More than a decade ago, Harrah's became the first casino company to create a responsible gaming policy. By giving us a special achievement award for our work, our industry peers recognized our leadership and commitment to being a responsible corporate citizen.
But this was only the beginning. In 2000, we introduced our Code of Commitment, which set forth the specific core principles that guide the way we treat our guests, employees and communities. This commitment includes some of the industry's most stringent marketing and advertising guidelines. The purpose of the commitment is to hold our company publicly accountable to what we believe are the industry's highest business conduct standards.
At Harrah's, these are the rules we play by, and they ensure that everybody wins.
